Formatted contents note In this episode of the Pacific Way, we bring you a documentary on the need to encourage people especially in rural areas to use energy to improve their standards of living. Many women are managers and operators of energy in the home and educating them on the different ways of using tratitional fuel or efficient sources of energy is important in development. We also bring you to a short story on climate change and the ever-worrying impact it has on some countries and territories in the Pacific region, a story on the canoes of the Marshall Islands and how these means of transportation were skillfully crafted. There is also a war dance performed by the men of New Caledonia at the Third Melanesian Arts and Culture festival held in Fiji in 2006.
