This video production is part of Pacific Energy and Gender Network (PEG) initiative to increase awareness of energy and gender issues in the Pacific region. The overall aim of this video production is to increase the awareness on gender issues in the energy sector focusing on the Pacific region. The video targets rural communities in contributing to build their awareness of how energy technologies incorporated into projects can improve their livelihoods, and how sustainable energy projects empower women, and assist in their daily lives. This video presents successful rural sustainable energy projects from the Pacific region such as Driti Community Solar Refrigeration Project, Fiji islands, Lakhan Family Biogas, Fiji Island, Atata Community Solar Project, Kingdom of Tonga and Palau Entrepreneur Laundromat experience.
